The Flooring Restoration Of Awel Aur And Boarding A Private Jet
The Flooring Restoration Of Awel Aur And Boarding A Private Jet At Cardiff Airport
It’s been a while since our last blog update.
During the last couple of months we’ve been busier than ever cleaning and restoring carpets, furniture and flooring for our new and returning customers, as well as working on some large commercial contracts.
During the month of June we worked with WRW on the restoration of Awel Aur, a beautiful property in Carmarthenshire. We were tasked with cleaning and restoring a variety of old solid flooring, including oak, slate, quarry, stone, marble, limestone and ceramic, in addition to sealing the new floors that were laid in the main home and outbuildings.
Here’s a before and after photo of one of the entrances to the main home:
It was a privilege to be asked to carry out the work and the client and new homeowner were delighted with the finished results.
On the commercial front, over the last couple of weeks we have also cleaned the carpets and upholstery at the Miller & Carter steakhouses, along with The Open University in Cardiff.
It’s been a period of very early starts and unsociably late finishes!
Cleaning A Private Jet
Perhaps our most enjoyable job of July thus far was the cleaning of the furnishings and carpets of a private jet that landed in Cardiff Airport last week. As you might expect, there were some pretty expensive wine stains to tackle!
I’m not quite sure if the rewards of carpet cleaning will ever enable me to board one of these lovely planes as an actual passenger, but the experience of working on one was wonderful!
That’s it from us for now …
We’ve got a busy week ahead cleaning stone flooring, carpets and furnishings.
