I’m not sure about you, but we’re rather pleased to see the back of 2020!

In what was surely the most difficult year of recent times for small businesses, we’re just glad to have made it out the other side in one piece!

And we couldn’t have done so without our loyal customers – old and new.

Although the start of 2021 looks like it’ll be full of similar challenges, we’ll still be approaching things positively, and from Monday 4th January we’ll be back out cleaning carpets, floors and upholstery for our customers in South Wales and Bristol.

December was a typically busy month for us, with people scrambling to get cleaning appointments booked before Christmas.

And, perhaps surprisingly, January is also shaping up to be busy – in spite of the scaled down festive celebrations.

I suppose it only takes one clumsy family member to drop a slice of cake or spill a glass of wine!

Stain Protection

When you’re having your carpets or sofas cleaned, choosing to have our stain protection applied after the clean is a very wise decision.

There is nothing worse than paying for a professional carpet or upholstery clean, only for an accidental spillage to happen in the days afterward!

In the photo below, you can see how a spill on an unprotected fabric cushion is immediately absorbed, potentially causing a permanent stain.

If this were red wine, or some other strong coloured liquid, it may be difficult to fully remove the stain at any point in the future.

Stain protection can stop this occurring and make it far easier to remove a stain.

Stone Floor / Tile Cleaning & Polishing

Many stone floors, such as marble, limestone and travertine, are pretty expensive investments.

And that’s why it can be disheartening to see them lose their sparkle after a few years of heavy foot traffic.

I can’t count how many times customers have told us they were on the verge of replacing their tiles or re-grouting their floors.

But in most cases, even the grimiest floors can be restored to their former glory.

Leather Cleaning

Leather sofas are another item of furniture that benefits from professional cleaning (particularly cream and white leathers!)

While classy and comfortable, there is no hiding place with light coloured leather.
